Set of six early S45 or Chlacc dining chairs by Pierre Chapo

A rare set of six original S45 “Chlacc” chairs by renowned French designer and cabinetmaker Pierre Chapo, crafted in solid elm with his characteristic sculptural approach to wood. Dating from the early period, before 1970, these chairs showcase Chapo’s exceptional craftsmanship and the distinctive architectural character that made his work so iconic. Completely original and preserved with a beautiful dark natural patina, they are in very good vintage condition with only subtle signs of use. The elegant yet robust construction creates a striking balance between sculptural presence and refined simplicity, making this an exceptional set for any sophisticated interior.
