Sculptural Italian rattan lounge chair

Rare Italian lounge chair from the 1970s, produced in a very small series and reminiscent in spirit of the work of Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist, though not by the designer herself. Its sculptural high-back form is entirely woven in rattan directly around a metal frame, without leather straps or visible fixings, creating an exceptionally distinctive and elegant silhouette. The exact manufacturer remains unknown, but these examples are believed to be from an early production.
