1970's French sculptural floor lamp

A striking 1970s French floor lamp featuring an oversized tubular shade with three light sources concealed behind it, wrapped in textured caning that creates a warm and atmospheric glow. The lamp is in good vintage condition, with some of the caning naturally loosening in places, adding character without affecting its structural integrity. The designer is unknown, and similar lamps exist in various forms, but this exceptionally tall version is one of the most impressive examples we have encountered.
