1960's French burl wood sideboard
Elegant French sideboard from the 1950s, showing strong design influences reminiscent of Jean-Claude Mahey, though attribution cannot be confirmed. The piece is fully finished in beautiful burl wood veneer, giving it a warm and luxurious appearance. It rests on a sleek steel base, adding a subtle contemporary touch to its mid-century charm. The top surface has been professionally refinished with a new varnish, enhancing the depth and richness of the wood grain. One minor flaw is present – a small crack on the left door, barely noticeable and not affecting the functionality or overall aesthetic.
